The Rainforest Habitat offers the following products and services.

Rainforest Habitat Gift Shop.
The gift shop offers a large variety of Papua New Guinea artefacts at the most competitive prices around. Also for sale are PNG coin sets, K100 coins, mint PNG stamps, Kainantu pottery, John Gould facsimile art prints of PNG birds, local art work including sand paintings, Sterling Silver jewellery including PNG charms, tropical framed prints, and framed butterfly and insects from the Insect Farming and Trading Agency at Bulolo.

The framed insects are offered at the same prices at the Rainforest Habitat as they are at our Bulolo office, the Kainantu pottery is offered at Kainantu prices plus freight costs.

Services
The Rainforest Habitat has expertise available in the areas of natural history, specifically PNG fauna and entomology, and in zoological biology and management, and zoo design. This expertise is available on a consultancy basis.

A small training centre is available for hire on the project grounds. The dormitory is capable of sleeping twelve comfortably, whilst the air-conditioned classroom can easily cater for twenty-five people.

Facilities include modern teaching aids in the classroom and cable TV and a self contained kitchen in the attached dormitory. The facility offers a low priced alternative to training, which is hard to find in PNG. Prices include laundry, and meals of various costs are available by arrangement. The hire of the classroom, whether in conjunction with accommodation or not includes all teaching aids and provision for morning and afternoon teas.

Tourists and sport teams looking for a more reasonably priced accommodation alternative are also welcome at the centre. Prices are negotiable depending on the number of guests and the level of comfort and privacy acceptable.
